Chiba Mitsuhiro was born in 1956. Then, in 2007, he took an early retirement from a professional business career and went to study the art of teapot production in Tokoname. He has since permanently established a workshop in Tokoname.
He also makes use of both yakishime firings and glazes in his pottery.
